Reports on an improvement in the demand for housing finance in Australia, which it puts down to the increased appetite from first time buyers (FTB). Predicts that in Korea, the BOK may choose to cut interest rates further, despite the recent better news from the economy, whilst in Canada, recent figures show a sharp drop in building activity and a continued deterioration in house prices. Suggests that the downturn in Hungary's commercial property market probably has further to run.
