Regular survey shows that rising buyer interest is driving greater sales activity, however changes to Home Information Pack rules have lead to a sharp drop in new instructions. An increase in sales to stock ratio for the fourth consecutive month suggests that prices could stabilise later in the year. The seasonally adjusted net balance of surveyors reporting falling rather than rising prices saw a marked improvement in April.
