Presents the Scottish results of the Countryside Survey, which has been carried out regularly since 1978 with the most recent being 2007. Shows trends in extent of habitats and vegetation as well as soil carbon content and the condition of freshwater and ponds. Previous surveys were carried out in 1998, 1990, 1984 and 1978.
