Reports that the seasonally adjusted net price balance of surveyors reporting rising rather than falling prices remained in negative territory in July although it narrowed to just 8%. This compares with a -18% reading in June and represents the best outcome since August 2007. New buyer enquiries have also now increased for nine consecutive months although the net balance of surveyors seeing an increase rather than a decrease in buyer interest (compared with the preceding month) was slightly lower than in June.
