Consultation on the draft Code of Practice on the Welfare of Gamebirds Reared for Sporting Purposes, made under the Animal Health and Welfare (Scotland) Act 2006 Part 2. The proposed Code will cover the period up to the point of release, and will apply to game farms that rear birds for sporting purposes but not to farms raising them for food only. Deadline for responses is 9 April 2010.
