A consultation on various proposals put forward by the Scottish Private Rented Sector Strategy Group, for possible inclusion in a Private Housing Bill. Covers improvements to the system for registration of landlords, enforcement of licensing of HMOs, overcrowding, changes to the tenancy regime; modernising the system for licensing of mobile home sites, and changes to the two 20 year rules that currently limit the length of residential leases. Deadline for comments is 19 April 2010.
