The Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009 requires that an annual report on progress in managing flooding should be laid before the Scottish Parliament. This is the first such report and outlines the progress made by the Scottish Government, SEPA, local authorities and Scottish Water in implementing the Act and achieving compliance with the Floods Directive during 2009.
