This exposure draft for the forthcoming 9th edition of the "International Valuation Standards" (IVS) planned for publication in January 2011 invites comments during a three-month public consultation period ending on 3 September 2010. IVS covers valuations for most types of asset, including for the first time a proposed standard for financial instruments and also reflects current developments in the "International Financial Reporting Standards", which increasingly require assets and liabilities to be valued.
