Limitation of human exposure to radon [electronic resource] advice from the Health Protection Agency

Limitation of human exposure to radon advice from the Health Protection Agency [electronic resource] - [S.l.] HPA 2010 - Documents of the Health Protection Agency RCE-15, July 2010 .

New advice on radon gas is issued by the Health Protection Agency (HPA). The action level of gas is being retained at 200 becquerels per cubic metre (Bq m-3) but a new target level of 100 Bq m-3 is being introduced. This new target level is proposed because scientist are more aware of the risks posed with exposure to radon below 200 Bq m-3 and the remediation measures are now more effective.
