Tenant demand falls for first time in a year as sentiment amongst surveyors wanes, most notably in London. Rental expectations are weakening across all sectors with the retail market likely to be worst hit. Enquiries for occupation decline across all sectors and all regions outside the North. Lettings activity for business property slipped back after a positive first quarter 2010. Surveyors are reporting that uncertainty over the extent of cuts in public spending are weighing on firms' investment decisions.
