August 2010 compared with July 2010; up by 0.3% in the EU27; in the construction sector, seasonally adjusted production fell by 0.4% in the euro area (EA16), but rose by 0.3% in the EU27 in August 2010, compared with the previous month; in July, production decreased by 3.2% and 2.5% respectively; compared with August 2009, output in August 2010 dropped by 8.5% in the euro area and by 1.3% in the EU27.
