This document reports survey information relating to early cost advice to clients, published tender price indices, elemental cost classifications for buildings, most common procurement routes, area measures used in expressing cost/m2, construction cost indices, classification of standard building types, key information sources, civil engineering elemental classification, and insurance reinstatement costs sources; the survey base was composed mainly of RICS members (primarily quantity surveyors) from 40 countries.
