An Act which amends the law in relation to ancient monuments and listed buildings. Changes introduced include those relating to unauthorised works, powers of entry to ancient monuments, the management of ancient monuments, liability for the cost of urgent works to listed buildings; the creation of inventories of gardens and battlefields; and the provision of grants and loans.
