The project 'PStar Comparison Project' was carried out under the DCLG framework contract with FMNectar. The purpose of the project was to compare the results of the PStar method (Primary and Secondary Terms Analysis and Re-normalisation) of determining the heat loss co-efficient of a house with the co-heating tests as carried out by Leeds Metropolitan University. The project's aim was to investigate the potential for a short-term energy monitoring test to be used as a compliance check for Part L of the Building Regulations.
