LT 23 May 1995. H sought compensation for refusal of consent by S to clear fell coppice woodland included in a tree preservation order. H claimed the notice of refusal did not include a valid art 5 certificate because the wording was inappropriate, the notice was not signed by the planning officer, and the issue of good forestry had not been investigated. "Held" the certificate had been properly issued.
