The Equality and Human Rights Commission outlines its approach to the implementation of key actions from the Race and Construction Inquiry. The Inquiry took place between January and July 2009 and focused on the under-representation of nonwhite ethnic minorities across the construction industry. This paper is aimed at industry leaders of both large companies and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The objective is to increase the number of employment opportunities for under-represented groups and diversify the supply chain in procurement.
