Presents a method for understanding heritage significance within views. The method can be applied to any view that is significant in terms of heritage values and it can also be used to supplement understanding of views that are already recognised as being important and worth protecting. These include views identified as part of the plan-making process, such as those identified in the London View Management Framework Oxford City Council's View Cones and Westminster City Council's draft Metropolitan Views supplementary planning document.
