The Tenancy Deposit Schemes (Scotland) Regulations 2011 [electronic resource]

The Regulations clarify the procedure for approval of tenancy deposit schemes in Scotland, in support of the Scottish Government's aim to ensure that landlords in Scotland receiving a deposit in relation to a relevant tenancy participate in an approved tenancy deposit scheme and abide by its rules. The Regulations apply to those tenancies which are covered by the landlord registration provisions in the Antisocial Behaviour etc. (Scotland) Act 2004. Comes into force on 7 March 2011.
