This guidance note relates to the valuation of natural resources and waste management properties, more commonly known in the UK as "wasting assets". The Resources and Environment Professional Group commissioned a working party to review, update and publish separately the guidance note that was originally included as GN 4 of the RICS Valuation Standards (the "Red Book"), 6th edition.
