The government is committed to the publication on a quarterly basis of the forward pipeline of funded construction projects, commencing in autumn 2011. Annex A of this report sets out first estimates (only) for the overall size of the forward pipeline of government procurement in construction. This has been published now to enable the construction industry to work together with government on a collaborative basis, to ensure that the autumn publication meets as fully as possible the requirements of the construction industry and helps government achieve value for money from its construction procurement.
