Consultation on proposed amendments to the marine licensing exemptions orders [electronic resource]

Since the implementation of the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010 and the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, questions have arisen in three areas: the licensing of small scale removals such as sediment sampling; the use of chemical and oil treatment substances below the surface of the sea; and the retrieval of objects accidentally deposited on the seabed. This consultation seeks to resolve those issues. Deadline for comments is 3 November 2011.
