[2011] EWHC 838 (QB), 4 April 2011. There are strict time limits for bringing property claims. A builder (Defendant R) sought to avoid liability for faulty work on the basis that the claim by E nine years after R did the work was brought too late. "Held": claim not allowed. E contended that he did not have the information to bring the claim any sooner. The court decided that he had had enough knowledge to bring it earlier.
