Goldacre (Offices) Ltd v Nortel Networks UK Ltd (in administration) [electronic resource]

[2009] EWHC 3389 (Ch), 7 December 2009. Applicant landlord G applied for the rent of business premises to be paid as an expense of the administration of the respondent company N. "Held": Application granted. Rent would continue to be payable as an administration expense quarterly in advance under the terms of two leases so long as the administrators retained or used any part of the premises demised for the benefit of the administration. The court had no discretion to consider how much it would be fair for the administrators to pay in this case.
