Assesses the impact the Right to Buy scheme allowing social housing tenants to buy their homes at substantial market discount will have on local authority and social housing stock. The scheme relaunched in March 2012 proposes to increase the discounts available up to 50% with a £75 000 ceiling. Each property sold will be replaced by a new property on a one to one basis.
