Construction output down by 7.1% in euro area [electronic resource]

In the construction sector, seasonally adjusted production fell by 7.1% in the euro area and by 3.7% in the EU27 in February 2012, compared with the previous month. In January 2012, production decreased by 0.5% and 3.9% respectively. Compared with February 2011, output in February 2012 dropped by 12.9% in the euro area and by 9.4% in the EU27.
