House prices rise for second consecutive month [electronic resource] - 2011 - Hometrack Monthly National Housing Survey 30 April 2012 .
House prices increased by 0.1% in April 2012, the second monthly increase in a row. A clear divide continues to grow between markets in and around London and the rest of the country. Whilst the strongest price rises were in London with a 0.3% increase and with small gains of 0.1% across the regions of southern England, prices elsewhere were either static or falling.
