In the construction sector, seasonally adjusted production rose by 12.4% in the euro area and by 11.8% in the EU27 in March 2012, compared with the previous month. In February, production fell by 10.4% in the euro area and by 5.7% in the EU27. Compared with March 2011, output in March 2012 decreased by 3.8% in the euro area and by 3.9% in the EU27.
