House prices up 0.2% on strength of London market [electronic resource] - 2012 - Hometrack Monthly National Housing Survey 28 May 2012 .
House prices increased by 0.2% in May 2012. The headline figure was boosted by London which saw a 0.6% growth in prices. House prices in the South East and East Anglia grew by 0.1%, in all other regions they remained either static or fell. Increased mortgage rates and mounting concerns over the impact of the Eurozone on the UK's economic growth and employment are likely to keep demand and prices in check through 2012.
