This updated roadmap documents and describes the activities of the BSI B/555 committee (design, modelling and data exchange) in support of delivering clear guidance to the UK industry dedicated to providing and operating built assets. It also supports the vision and mission statement of the committee in the reduction of whole life cost, risk, carbon and the timely delivery of buildings and infrastructure projects. The 2012 update also incorporates the activities in support of the government's 2011 BIM strategy.
