[Collection of auction catalogues]

[Collection of auction catalogues] - [S.l.] [s.n.] 1807-1830 - 1 v. 22 cm.

A collection of auction catalogues, mostly relating to auctions conducted by Mr Gomme, with others conducted by Mr Williams, Mr Phillips, Mr Rainy, Prickett & Sons, Farebrother, and Wilson & Lye. Most of the auctions take place in and around Hammersmith. Many of the catalogues have been annotated with details of prices obtained by lots, as well as other notes. There is an ink stamp on the inside of the front board, reading "Gomme, Auctioneer, Hammersmith". Two of the catalogues are loose, the others have been bound together. The book was presented by G. Cole of Oxford on 25 April 1966.
