Consultation seeks views on two of the main guidance simplification measures from the recent Habitats and Wild Birds Directive Implementation Review. These are; A stocktake of the large body of existing guidance, with a view to propose how it should be rationalised by March 2013 and draft new guidance providing an overview of the sites and species requirements of the Directives. Comments should be sent to Defra by 5 February 2013.
