The main points for the 3rd quarter of 2012 include indigenous production of fuels in the UK falling by 7.3 % in the third quarter of 2012 compared with a year earlier while total primary energy consumption for energy uses rose by 1.2%. Of electricity generated in the third quarter of 2012, gas accounted for 28.2% (it?s lowest third quarter share for 14 years) due to high prices.
