Recommendations include the creation of a regulatory framework for the private rented sector, allow local authorities greater power to enforce law and raise standards, calls for the regulation of letting agents and creation of longer temancy agreements to give more stability to tenants particularly those with families and to increase of supply of properties available across all types of tenancies.
