Offers updated guidance to RICS members working in Scotland on the options now available regarding the agreement of an appropriate basis of charge. Until the issue of this guidance note, Ryde?s Scale has been used in Scotland as the main basis for the calculation of appropriate reimbursement to a claimant by an acquiring authority for the surveyor?s fee incurred in respect of handling a claim for compensation following the use of compulsory purchase order (CPO) powers. Effective from 1 May 2014
