A paper presented at the COBRA Conference in New Delhi on 10-12 September 2013. Discusses ideas around implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) outside of the design office, through examples that demonstrate some of the small things that can have a high impact and are often overlooked because of the significant barriers to big BIM implementation. This paper provides a practitioner's perspective based upon the observations made on actual projects and builds on the 5D BIM methodology.
