Review of construction and demolition waste management legislation in the UK [electronic resource] - London RICS 2013 - COBRA 2013 .
A paper presented at the COBRA Conference in New Delhi on 10-12 September 2013. Critically reviews UK waste policy changes over the past two decades and examines their implications for the management of construction and demolition (C&D) waste. The main state interventions that have had an impact on the construction industry are the requirement of construction project clients to prepare and implement site waste management plans for their developments as well as the progressively increasing landfill charges.
