Before carrying repair and renovation work the article suggests checking drainage, assessing the reasons for any ruts and dips which may have appeared such as poor foundations, tree roots. Suggests repair and renovation techniques for a variety of surfaces including concrete, tarmac, gravel and block pavements. Considers cleaning techniques varying from a simple brush and bucket to jet washing concluding with suitable paints and sealants for completing the task. Useful illustration.
