State of the nation survey Low energy retrofit in social housing [electronic resource]

Tracks the attitudes of the UK?s housing sector towards energy saving retrofits, the opportunities and barriers. Between them, respondents to this survey on retrofit represent over 50% of the UK?s housing stock and the leading theme within this summary report describes how the sector is willing and increasingly able to deliver. Despite the contextual challenges, the survey shows that Registered Providers continue to take retrofit seriously and its impact on tenant welfare. There is a clear recognition that providing residents with warm, affordable homes is now vital as energy prices and the general cost of living look set to rise.
