Provides general guidance to organisations to facilitate compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force 25 May 2018. It is aimed at helping individuals who have day-to-day responsibility for data protection. It includes links to relevant sections of the GDPR itself, to other ICO guidance and to guidance produced by the EU?s Article 29 Working Party. The ICO is the UK Representative to the Working Party. Includes a checklist for GDPR preparatoin.
