Summarises the key challenges and opportunities of sharing construction cost data as well as outlining the main points for further debate. Although the inconsistencies in the way that cost, resource, and schedule information is modelled and expressed are fully recognised, this paper focuses on cost data in the first instance since that is what is of immediate and greatest value to clients.
