The six-monthly "CBI/GVA Grimley survey of property trends" undertaken in November shows a marked increase in demand for commercial property over the last six months with a balance of 19% of companies surveyed reporting an increase in their property holdings, the highest balance since November 2001. This positive trend is set to continue over the next six months with a balance of 17% respondents expecting to increase their holdings and this increase will be in all UK regions and across all the main commercial property sectors.
