Commissioned as part of the Lyons Review to provide an objective comparative analysis of alternative locations for the transfer of 20 000 civil service jobs into UK regions, King Sturge has published its findings in the report: "Independent review of public sector relocation-comparative assessment of locations". The report names 25 locations chosen according to a number of variables and a set of six agreed scenarios. Though not the definitive list of locations, the report will nevertheless be used as a guide for departments considering relocation opportunities.
