The government has issued more funds under its Community Energy programme. A further £6million has been added to the £22million previously awarded. These grants will help reduce energy bills and greenhouse gases and reduce and fuel poverty. The combined projects are expected to cut carbon emissions by almost 4 000 tonnes a year.
