Figures released by the Registers of Scotland indicate that the value of the Scottish residential property market could exceed £12bn for 2003/2004. The figures show the average price for a residential property in Scotland is £103 394, an increase of 17% over the same period last year and also provide average house prices and total market value for the different regions.
