The European Environment Agency and the European Commission have launched the European Pollutant Emission Register. The initiative is the very first Europe-wide register of industrial emissions into air and water. It is possible to search for data on emissions from about 10 000 specific industrial sites in the EU and Norway, industries in certain countries or by a specific activity and emissions by name of pollutants.
