According to the inaugural "Welsh annual first time buyer review" conducted by the Halifax,first-time buyers are finding property prices in towns just too expensive. Compiled from information sourced from the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the ONS and the Halifax's own housing statistics database, the report shows that of the 35 main towns in Wales prices in 25 are so high as to be out of the reach of first-time buyers.
