The Campaign to Protect Rural England has responded to the interim report of Kate Barker's "Review of housing supply - securing our future housing needs" with its own report which argues that the review does not demonstrate an under-supply of housing even in London or southeast England. "A basis on which to build" also argues that the additional release of greenfield land for housing development is unlikely to reduce house price volatility.
