Concern over government GM plans

Concern over government GM plans - 2004 - RICS Press Release 9 March 2004, (2) .

RICS has expressed concern at the latest DEFRA announcement concerning the processing of GM maize crops into animal feed. RICS stressed the need for an accurate system of recording the location of GM crops as outlined in its report "Setting up a genetically modified organism land register". Such a register would also ensure that consumers would have genuine choice whether or not to buy GM foods. http://www.rics.org/ricscms/bin/show?class=PressRe lease&template=/includes/showpr.html&id=1137&facul ty=RICS.
