Quantity surveyors get safety scheme recognition
- 2004
- RICS Press Release (pr030) 23 March 2004 (2) .
RICS has established a new route for quantity surveyors to access the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). From 5 April 2004, chartered quantity surveyors will have direct professional recognition within CSCS. CSCS aims to unify safety regulation on sites and, as client groups press for enforcement of the scheme, this could lead to preferential treatment for those holding a CSCS card. http://www.rics.org/ricscms/bin/show?class=PressRe lease&template=/includes/showpr.html&id=1148&facul ty=RICS
