Farmers benefit from grants

The government has awarded more grants to help farmers increase efficiency and work together to share best practice. The grants are awarded under the Agricultural Development Scheme (ADS) and are designed to help farmers and the food chain achieve improvements in line with the government's Strategy for Sustainable Farming and Food. Grants are awarded quarterly and applications for the June panel should be submitted by 6 April 2004.
